It has been a dramatic couple of days. First let me say that there has been improvement in Jason’s status. They never got around to putting the feeding tube in and yesterday he was actually able to swallow so he ATE! Woo HOO! His first meal back was a graham cracker, apple juice, apple sauce and ½ a container of ensure.
Unfortunately he still doesn’t have use of his arms. My hope is that with the ability to swallow coming back the use of his arms will also. At this time we don’t know if it the steroid treatment working or the radiation.
I am asking that the prayers, positive thoughts/energy and love continue to be sent. Thank you all so much. I will be trying to get to Michigan every weekend to give what support that I can. I will make sure that I post updates as I get the chance.
