Easter as an adult

Easter Eggs

Welcome to Easter Sunday as an adult. Today has convinced me I am really an adult.

CRAP!

My day started with sleeping in until 6 AM. Got up, fed the cats, started coffee, and did some other house keeping. I did go back to bed from 10 to noon. Then it was up, taxes, some work, getting the laundry together, making dinner, cleaning the kitchen and more fun like that. What is this?

What do I mean by that question? Simply this, not to long ago Easter Sunday was a day of chocolate, food, resting, reading and all around “day off” from everything. I seem to have suddenly hit adulthood and I am not really sure how this happened. I mean taxes on my time?

For today, no matter your faith, may you find renewal.

Peace and blessings.

I am learning about life and living it. Doing it at 42 is a bit of challenge, but learning to over come depression, the past, and regain my passion for life is what it is all about!

  1. My mom hid eggs for me last year because I complaining about the same thing – while I felt silly, it was so much fun racing my husband to them – made me feel like I was ten again.
